Place Inbox is local-first. Places, trip names, why-saved notes, ranks, links, and photos are stored only in this browser (IndexedDB for places, trips, and image blobs). Language and a few UI settings may use localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to our servers for accounts or backup.

There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side stash of your travel wishlist.

The optional map loads OpenStreetMap tiles and Leaflet from a public CDN in your browser. Coordinates you type stay on this device. There is no geocoding service and no location tracking.

You can export or delete everything in the app, or clear site data in your browser settings.
